Born in Russia, 1990. Since 2013 living and working in Spain, Barcelona. Member of Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc. My research in art consists in the exploration of human and nature’s beauty. Paying tribute to the classical canons of the past, I am inspired by the nowadays reality, which then I represent in my paintings and drawings. This way of research sometimes leads me to destructional and cut-off compositional solutions. I am constantly rethinking what ‘beauty’ means today, especially being interested in the woman’s body and style. Sometimes, I focus on just one particular aspect, like lighting or a sensation, so that the whole process of accomplishing an artwork becomes subordinated to this particular, impressionistic goal.
